Working with recruitment agencies
The Guidance & Employability Team (GET) work with recruitment agencies to help promote opportunities directly to students and recent graduates. We can only work with agencies who are members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
To find out more visit the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
Advertising vacancies on behalf of recruitment agencies
GET will advertise individual vacancies on behalf of approved agencies provided the following criteria is met:
- GET are provided with job descriptions, job titles and the names of employers which are also made available to applicants
- The information supplied to GET complies with current equal opportunities and employer legislation
- In the case of casual or part-time employment, GET is informed of the required hours of working - and includes this information in its publicity to students.
Advertising your services
GET do not normally provide direct links from the website to those of recruitment agencies and consultancies nor do they provide banner advertisements or student mail-shots, unless by personal negotiation with a member of GET.
GET facilitate large-scale recruitment and promotional events for recruitment agencies via annual recruitment fairs, campus presentations and bespoke events. Registered REC recruitment agencies are invited to submit their expressions of interest in attending the next campus recruitment agency event by contacting the Employer Liaison Co-ordinator on 020 8331 8582.
