University of Greenwich joins forces with Tata Consultancy Services for India conference
The University of Greenwich is delighted to announce that Tata Consultancy Services is the university’s strategic partner for the forthcoming conference, Doing Business in India.
Tata Consultancy Services will provide their own expert speakers at the conference, and representatives from some of their high profile customers and partners will also take to the podium.
This is the first step towards a wider partnership with Tata Consultancy Services where the university hopes to develop a network of small and medium-sized businesses, working together at a wide range of public and networking events.
The conference will be of great interest to those working in the Indian business market helping them to keep up to date with this fast changing environment. It will provide practical help and advice for those interested in entering the market, sharing business development interests and talking to experts.
Doing Business in India is targeted at business professionals and academics, with the aim of helping businesses keep ahead in their work in the India UK business relationship. There will be opportunities to find products and services from India and a chance to develop a network of contacts.

A range of experienced industry specialists will share their knowledge of the sectors that are most important to India’s future. The experts are from a variety of different backgrounds and include: Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the UK India Business Council and Emerald Publishing Group. There will be opportunities to find products and services from India and a chance to develop a network of contacts.
The conference takes place on Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28 at the University of Greenwich, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, SE10 9LS, and will be opened by His Excellency, Nalin Surie, Indian High Commissioner for London.
Presentations will include the subjects of: management, supply chain, marketing, branding, human resources, architecture, construction, innovation and higher education.
Key speakers at the event include: Professor Lord Patel of Bradford OBE; His Excellency, Nalin Surie, Indian High Commissioner for London; John Peters, CEO of Emerald Group Publishing; and John Saville, Director Asia - Designate of UK Trade and Investment.

The first day of the conference runs from 9.30am to 5.30pm and ends with a gala dinner at 7.30pm. The second day runs from 9.30am to 2.30pm and includes lunch.
